Why is my dust extractor constantly beeping?

The beeping on your Festool Dust Extractor could be caused of the hose, tub or filter, to troubleshoot this issue conduct the relevant test below.

CT26/36:
Remove hose, tub and filter. Turn hose dial to 50. Machine should beep from lowest suction to about half.

MIDI:
Remove hose, tub and filter. Set dial to 50. The machine should beep on speeds 1, 2 and sometimes 3. Speed 4 & 5 at 50mm should not beep indicating a possible problem. 

If the beeping persists please contact Festool service to have your extractor checked by a Festool technician.
