If you are not completely satisfied with a Festool tool, you can obtain a refund of the purchase amount on your registered, undamaged machine*. Excluded are machines that are damaged or have been subject to above average wear (“Excluded Machines”) and any used or partially used consumables. You need to have registered your Festool tool for SERVICE all-inclusive within 7 days of purchase to benefit from the 30 Day Money Back guarantee.

Through Dealers

For customers who purchased through a Festool dealer, simply return your registered machine (Excluded Machines not included) to your Festool dealer within 30 days of purchase in its original packaging including the accessories that are part of the scope of delivery of that tool. On presentation of your original receipt and the completion of a brief feedback form, the dealer will then reimburse you with the purchase amount.

In cases where it appears in the opinion of the dealer that the machine may have been subject to above average wear, the Festool dealer partner is entitled to refuse a reimbursement until the case has been reviewed and determined by Festool Australia.

PLEASE NOTE: Faulty Tools (fault from manufacturing or operator fault) are excluded from the 30day money back guarantee. Please book your tool in as a warranty repair Service Pickup (festool.com.au). We will come back to you with a proposed resolution once the tool has been assessed.

Online Purchases

For tool purchases made online via festool.com.au, customers need to do both of the following steps within 30 days of purchase (which is the date the online order is placed, not date of delivery) in order to obtain a full refund:

  • Complete and submit a Request for Refund Form (which includes feedback questions).
  • Return your registered machine (Excluded Machines not included) to Festool Australia at 21 - 27 Evolution Drive, Dandenong South, Vic 3175 within 30 days of purchase in its original packaging including the accessories that are part of the scope of delivery of the tool.
  • Note: the customer is responsible for and bears the expense of returning the machine and accessories and those items must actually be received by Festool Australia within 30 days of purchase in order for the customer to be eligible for the refund – accordingly, customers should allow sufficient time for delivery.
