Are tools received as a Gift from overseas covered under warranty in Australia?

Unfortunately we are unable to differentiate between products being actively imported into Australia or bought overseas and then shipped to Australia from third parties.
Please ensure that the gift you receive is a 240 V version, as we often hear from customers who end up with tools shipped from the US or the UK, Japan, which then do not work in Australia.
