Is it normal that my ROTEX sander gets warm while in use?
ROTEX sanders run warm while in use however they have have a thermal protection system which prevents them from overheating.
If the system is not activating then the unit is running at normal operating temperature.
When this system does activate the tool slows down considerably and produces very little power.
