Why cant a plug-it lead be fixed?
There is a repair kit for a plug-it produced by Festool but this item is not approved by the Australian Electrical Approvals for the Australian Market.
t was deemed that the repair plug-it kit exposed end users to live electrical wires and was too dangerous for end users to be working with. This means that when a plug-it lead fails, it needs to be replaced with a new plug-it lead in Australia.
If a customer is having issues with plug-it leads, it is important that they are informed about the different types of plug-it leads available for the different tools & applications
