Why does my cordless sander have less power when connected to mains?
Overload Protection on the cordless sander is engaging at a lower point when on the power adaptor than when used with the battery causing the sander to cut out more often.
This is normal.
The battery can deliver significantly more power than a power adaptor so when the sander is running the power adaptor it will cut out more due to this limitation.
