Universal Saw Blade 260mm x 2.5mm x 30mm 60 Tooth
Functions
A 260mm Festool Universal saw blade for general-purpose cutting in wood, wood-based panels and soft plastics — the everyday default blade for KS 120R mitre saw users. With a 30mm bore, 2.5mm kerf and 60 teeth in the yellow-coded Wood family, this blade is sized for use on the KS 120R mitre saw. Use this blade for the materials it was engineered for: solid wood cross sections, plywood, multiplex and multi-layered timber, MDF (medium-density fibreboard), HDF (high-density fibreboard), untreated chipboard, soft plastic and soft PVC. The 60-tooth count and W Top Bevel tooth geometry deliver a clean, balanced cut across the broad range of materials a working mitre saw is asked to cope with — fine enough for a tidy finish on visible cuts, aggressive enough to maintain a useful feed rate. Like all standard and fine-tooth Festool blades, this blade can be resharpened up to six times, significantly extending blade life and reducing cost-per-cut over generic single-use alternatives. The high-quality steel body and fine-grain carbide teeth are engineered to hold accuracy through the volume of cuts a working mitre saw goes through — important for trim carpenters, framers and finish carpenters who depend on the saw to set up once and run all day. A genuine Festool blade, ground and balanced to the original specification of the KS 120R. For full saw and material compatibility, the Which Saw Blade? guide is available in the Saw Advice Hub, accessible from the Saws section on festool.com.au.
