Repairs and Returns

To assist you with the return of product for repair we have set up 'repair drop off points' around Australia. Please use the repair drop off point locator below:

Find nearest Repair Drop Off Point   Refer to icon that indicates that dealer is a Repair Drop Off Point.

All you need to do is return your tool to the closest repair drop of point and they will take care of the rest for you.

If your tool has been registered for Service All-Inclusive, your freight from the dealer to the service centre is FREE of charge for the first 3 years of ownership.

When dropping your product off for repair at the Dealer, it is very important that you take with you your Service all-Inclusive registration certificate.

Special requirements for 'H' Class dust extractors:

H class

H Class Extractors are designed to be used for the removal of hazardous dusts, it is reasonable to expect that all H class units have been exposed to materials hazardous to health (such as asbestos) Due to the risk to handlers the following process to return H Class Extractors for repair must be followed:

The owner is requested to follow the instructions on the special H Class decontamination and transport form (included in original packaging)

  • The special H Class decontamination and transport form can be downloaded by clicking here.
  • The owner is requested to fill in required information on the decontamination and transport form and fax to 03 8795 9221 or email to .
  • The decontamination and transport form must be accompanied by receipt of purchase

Prior to transport all extractors must be:

  • Decontaminated - washed down
  • Dust bag has been removed and dust container decontaminated
  • Main filter has been removed
  • Extraction hose has been sealed within plastic bag and placed in dust container
  • Extractor has been placed within the special H class containment bag (included in original packaging )

Repair Services and Lien Terms

A quotation fee of $30 + GST will be charged to disassemble and prepare a quotation for you. If you accept the quotation to repair the item the quotation fee will be waived. If you do not wish to accept the quotation the item will be returned disassembled. Unless specifically requested when submitting a claim to TTS to carry out a repair, and where the retail value of the repair cost does not exceed $150 + GST, TTS will automatically carry out the repair without submitting a prior quote. TTS has a general lien on all items submitted to Tooltechnic Systems (Aust) Pty Ltd for repair by you for all charges which are due or become due. If the charges are not paid and/or the item is not collected by you, Tooltechnic Systems (Aust) Pty Ltd has the right to sell the item and apply the proceeds to discharge the lien and the costs of sale.
