The battery-powered ExoActive ExoSkeleton makes strenuous overhead tasks much easier. Whether you’re sanding, painting or installing, the ExoSkeleton provides an extra boost when your arms get tired and relieves the strain on your neck. By reducing the stress on your body, you can work more efficiently, focus on the quality of your work, and enjoy what you’re doing more. You can adjust the support level on the ExoSkeleton in seconds, providing targeted assistance exactly where you need it. The ExoSkeleton is comfortable and easy to wear, just like a backpack, and can be quickly adjusted to fit your body size.
Provides up to 5 kg of support
The ExoSkeleton gives each underarm a boost of up to 50 Newtons, which is like taking 5 kilos off your load. The PLANEX LHS 2-M long-reach sander weighs 3.9 kilos, but it feels almost weightless in your hands. Since tradie tasks vary so much, the ExoSkeleton’s support can be tailored to the job. You can adjust the support level on the fly with the controller. The exoskeleton has three preset working areas for easy control: from the waist up, from the chest up, or overhead. The ergonomic, easy-to-reach control lets you switch the ExoSkeleton on and off, set the support level to one of five settings, and choose the working area. If you don’t need support for a bit, you can pause the system with a button press – handy for picking up a screw or mixing paint.

The new ExoSkeleton fits seamlessly with your body, with no parts getting in your way or restrictive straps. A handy feature: All the ExoSkeleton’s fabric and strap parts are removable and washable, so different people can use it. Our 18v 4.0Ah, 5.0Ah and 8.0Ah batteries are all suitable to use with the ExoSkeleton, the 4.0Ah is lightest and testing suggests this gives 1.5 to 5 hrs usage depending upon the amount of activity.
