The perfect cut
A red-coded Festool Laminate saw blade sized 216mm × 2.3mm × 30mm bore with 60 teeth — the dimension that fits the KS 60 mitre saw, KSC 60 cordless mitre saw and SYMC 70 symmetrical saw, the three current Festool saws built around the 216mm × 30mm format. The TF/W2FA tooth geometry and 60-tooth count deliver the clean, chip-free cut laminate materials demand on the show face. Use this blade for cutting laminated flooring, Corian and Varicor solid surface, coated panels, laminate panels, melamine resin boards and Trespa® on the 216mm-format saws. The blade is sized for the precision mitre and cross-cut work in cabinet, kitchen and fit-out trades where laminate and solid-surface materials need a clean, chip-free finish on the visible face. Like all standard Festool blades, this blade can be resharpened up to six times, extending blade life and reducing cost-per-cut. The TF/W2FA tooth geometry holds its precision through the abrasive cutting that laminate work demands. A genuine Festool blade, ground and balanced to the original specification of the KS 60, KSC 60 and SYMC 70. For full saw and material compatibility, the Which Saw Blade? guide is available in the Saw Advice Hub, accessible from the Saws section on festool.com.au.
