Studying his trade in the UK, Bill acquired most of his experience in London and the surrounding areas which he considers to be ‘an environment that can expose you to many amazing buildings’.

Over the years Bill has completed many different projects using a wide range of Festool products. His work covers a wide spectrum, from stairs to secret doors to exterior screening concealing the garage entry point and so on.

Since being back in Australia he has worked on high end architectural renovations where there are always lots of elements to get you thinking and test your skills. “In this situation you need the right tools. Festool are the tools for me. I have touched on other brands over the years and since discovering Festool, it has made my day to day experience on the job site more efficient and successful.”

You can see a selection of photos from some of his high end projects, in which Bill considers dust extraction to be an important part of his set up  – “always accompanying me with every task is my CTL 26, keeping me and the jobsite clean and tidy”. For Bill, dust extraction “makes my day more efficient. Clean up at the end of the day is much simpler. It looks professional and I go home to my family almost dust free”.  Apart from dust extraction, Bill also likes the Systainer storage solutions, the whole system approach including the plug it leads, the sturdy design of the tools and the efficiency and great results he achieves when using Festool.

Bill’s experiences working with Festool tools in comparison to other brands is like “chalk and cheese”. When working with Festool he says “I’m always left with outstanding results and satisfied customers. I find it’s a product range that gives me confidence to push the boundaries and always come out on top”.

Bill’s business Point 5 Carpentry and Joinery is located in Wellington Point QLD.
