The perfect cut
A yellow-coded Festool Wood Fine Tooth saw blade sized 260mm × 2.5mm × 30mm bore with 80 teeth — the dimension that fits the KS 120R mitre saw, the larger-format Festool mitre saw. The 80-tooth count is the finest in the Wood Fine Tooth family at this diameter, engineered for the cleanest possible mitre and cross-cut on the finished face. Use this blade when finish matters on the KS 120R: cabinet panel work, drawer-side dimensioning, visible mitre joints, architrave returns, and the show-face cross-cuts where the cut quality on the saw determines whether the next step is assembly or re-sanding. Works across veneered panels, coated panels, parquet, solid wood, MDF, HDF, blockboard, plywood and multiplex. Like all standard and fine-tooth Festool blades, this blade can be resharpened up to six times, extending blade life. The fine-grain carbide teeth and steel body hold the precision tolerances finish work demands cut after cut. A genuine Festool blade, ground and balanced to the original specification of the KS 120R. For full saw and material compatibility, the Which Saw Blade? guide is available in the Saw Advice Hub, accessible from the Saws section on festool.com.au.
