A 28mm diameter, 7mm cutting length carbide (HW) facing cutter with an 8mm shank for use with the Festool OF 1010 router, OFK 700 laminate trimmer and MFK 700 laminate trimmer. The facing geometry is engineered for trimming the face of a workpiece flush — particularly the flush trimming of overlapping laminates, edge bands and applied veneers. Use this cutter for the work it is built for: flush-trimming the overhanging edge of a laminate sheet against the substrate face, cleaning up applied veneers and edge banding, and any precision face-trimming operation where the cutter has to leave the substrate untouched while shaving the overlay precisely flush.
