A green-coded Festool Diamond saw blade sized 160mm × 2.2mm × 20mm bore with 4 teeth — the dimension that fits the TS 55 R plunge-cut saw, the older-model 55-series track saw at 2.2mm kerf. The diamond cutting edges deliver high cutting performance through abrasive cement and gypsum-bonded materials that strip the teeth off conventional carbide blades within metres. Use this blade for the work it is built for: cutting cement-bonded chipboard and fibreboard, gypsum-bonded panel materials, hard abrasive building panels, soft cement panels and dry plaster materials — the abrasive sheet products used in fire-rated and structural applications. Paired with a Festool CTM mobile dust extractor, the system handles these dust-heavy materials with the dust control these silica-bearing substrates demand. Diamond blades cannot be resharpened — they are designed as long-life consumables where the diamond cutting edges hold their geometry through hundreds of cuts in abrasive material that would destroy a conventional blade. The diamond engineering is what makes the blade economic across its service life.
