A 260mm Festool Aluminium saw blade for cutting non-ferrous metals and hard plastics on the mitre saw. With a 30mm bore, 2.4mm kerf and 68 teeth in the blue-coded Aluminium family, this blade is sized for use on the KS 120R mitre saw — the right blade when you need clean cross-cuts in aluminium edging, profiles or composite panels at the larger 260mm capacity. Use this blade for the materials it was engineered for: aluminium panels 8–25mm thick, aluminium profiles, aluminium composite panels (ACP), non-ferrous metals such as copper and brass, hard plastic and hard PVC, acrylic glass, fibre-reinforced plastics, and phenolic resin bonded fibres and fabrics. The 68-tooth count and triple-chip-grind tooth geometry shear the cut cleanly without tearing or melting the workpiece, leaving an edge that needs little or no finishing — important when the cut is the visible edge. Like all standard and fine-tooth Festool blades, this blade can be resharpened up to six times, significantly extending blade life and reducing cost-per-cut over generic single-use alternatives. The fine-grain carbide teeth and laser-cut, thermally adjusted blade core minimise heat build-up during the cut, helping the blade hold true through long working days.
